Welcome to the first blog written prior to the first Used Vinyl Club show and release. At this exact moment in time I’m listening to some of Steve Lamacq’s guests be really mean about Kasabian. As well as being thoroughly entertained I’m fairly calm, if a bit frazzled. Give it a couple of weeks…
In little over a month we’ll release Puzzle’s EP ‘Everything you ever made’. 3rd of February to be exact. This will be the first of 9 records released across a period of around 9 months, each will have a show to celebrate it’s release. An idea so neat and tidy that I’ve found myself saying, out loud, on more than one occasion, ‘what could possibly go wrong’. Here’s hoping we don’t find out too soon!
I’m planning to use this blog as an online archive for the various press releases and information’s which might make up the pages of a more technologically savvy label’s WEBSITE. The website we’ve put together is more of a portal. There seemed little point doubling up on all of the various clever social networking sites that we’ll use.
Anyhow, this is really a test blog. I’ll redouble my attempts at something resembling wit in the coming weeks. Speak to you soon,
